Privacy Policy
Effective date: 13 June 2026This Privacy Policy explains what information TeachBest ("we", "us", or "our") collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your data. TeachBest is an educational service that provides AP exam revision materials via WhatsApp.
1. What information we collect
We collect only the following:
- Your WhatsApp phone number. This is the only personal identifier we store. We do not collect your name, email address, device ID, location, or any other personal information.
- Credit balance and usage history linked to your phone number (e.g., how many slide decks you have requested).
- Messages you send to our WhatsApp number, used only to process your request in real time and not retained beyond what is necessary to fulfil it.
We do not use cookies. We do not collect payment card data — all payments are processed entirely by third-party providers and we receive no financial information from them.
2. Why we collect this data
Your phone number is collected solely to:
- Assign you an account identity so we can track your credit balance.
- Deliver the AP revision materials you request via WhatsApp.
- Respond to support or deletion requests you initiate.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.
3. Third-party sharing
We do not sell or rent your data to any third party. However, because our service operates through the WhatsApp Business API, your messages and phone number are necessarily processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. as the infrastructure provider. Meta's handling of that data is governed by WhatsApp's Privacy Policy.
We share no data with any other third party for analytics, advertising, or any other purpose.
4. Data storage and retention
Your phone number and credit balance are stored on our servers for as long as you use the service. We do not retain message content beyond what is needed to process each request. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 5).
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you (your phone number and credit history).
- Correct any inaccurate information.
- Delete your data — we will remove your phone number and all associated records from our systems.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@teachbest.uk from any address, including the one linked to your WhatsApp number. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Changes to this policy
